Historic MG Racers sponsored by Historic Motor Sports Association

03/15/2008 - 8:00am
03/16/2008 - 4:00pm
Etc/GMT-8

This will likely be the largest gathering of racing MGs in the history of West Coast racing. Over 60 MGs are registered for the featured grid from all over the US and Canada, and more are expected. The weekend will honor Ken Miles and his racing career, with both Flying Shingles, R1 and R2, on display. The son of Ronnie Bucknum, Jeff Bucknum (pro racer), will attend. Ronnie made MGBs famous while driving for Hollywood Sport Cars. The Von Neumann Special MGTD that first raced at Pebble Beach in 1950 will be there. There will be a lunchtime track drive for the MG corral members. Pre registration is required using the Car Corral form linked below. You will be led by the Flying Shingle for a what is sure to be a historic moment.

CHAMP cars will be testing on Friday (free entry) so come early. There will be an autograph session at 4:30 with the CHAMP drivers. Most of the MG racers will already be in the pits with their cars on display.

Deadline for Registration is March 3rd.
