Mille de Mendocino Dry Run

The MG2007 committee has planned a test run of the "Mille de Mendocino", the featured tour of the MG2007 event in July. This is an ambitious drive going up along the coast and returning through the redwood forests and Hwy 101. It is about 5 hours of driving plus stops. It is styled after the historic rallies held in Europe and will include a rally plate to affix to your car.Tom Balutis and Andy Preston and their wives plan to run another test of the trip on Saturday, Feb. 24. They plan to meet at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rohnert Park (along Hwy 101, 45 miles north of San Francisco) at 8:30am and depart at 9am.The purpose of the trip is to determine stops, refine the route and find parking in Mendocino. Everyone is welcome.
